Kent & Curwen

If you look at the Kent & Curwen logo, it probably reminds you of something. That's right, the icon of the English football team and the English national flag feature the same three lions as the Kent & Curwen logo. This isn't surprising, since Kent & Curwen is a typical English clothing brand. The history of the three lions symbol dates back to the ^12th century. English troops going into battle during that time protected themselves with a shield symbolized by the three golden lions. These lions were said to inspire and motivate the English troops. These lions now form the basis of the Kent & Curwen clothing brand. Now, you're probably wondering how this unique clothing brand became famous. The clothing brand's success is partly due to David Beckham: in 2015, the former English professional footballer and fashion icon became the business partner and face of the Kent & Curwen clothing brand. Balr.

The sporty and luxury clothing brand Balr was founded in the Netherlands in 2013. Dutch footballer Demy de Zeeuw (also known for his time with Ajax and the Dutch national team) founded the lifestyle clothing brand together with Juul Manders and Ralph de Geus. Eljero Elia and Gregory van der Wiel (also known from Dutch football) subsequently became shareholders for a period and also contributed to the brand's success. Balr. is the embodiment of a modern lifestyle brand, targeting a young and ambitious audience. Philippe Model

Another special brand we've added to our collection is Philippe Model , a French shoe brand that has been designing shoes for women, men, and children since 1981 (we only carry the men's collection). The brand is named after its founder, Philippe. Philippe Model designs sneakers that reflect vintage and urban style. The most important symbol central to the French shoe brand is "le blason" (French for "coat of arms"). This coat of arms makes each model unique and recognizable and has a special meaning. It's the stylized coat of arms of Paris, the city where everything began for the shoe brand. The logo is hand-stitched, featuring perforated or layered colors on the various models.
